Book Fair has ended. Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who was able to support the book fair this year. We hope everyone is enjoying their books! The orders were packed up and shipped yesterday. Through the book fair, the library has earned almost $3000 worth of books from Scholastic.  That’s a lot of hard covers!

Scholastic Book Fair starts MONDAY!

Classes will have a “look-loo” tour on Monday so they can see what is available at the Fair.
Throughout the day on  Tuesday and Wednesday, students will have the opportunity to purchase (as well as at recesses and lunches).
Parents and Families are welcome to visit the Fair at the following times:

Monday 2:00-4:00

Tuesday 2:00-4:00 and 6:30-8:00 pm

Wednesday 2:45-4:00

There is also the option of visiting the ONLINE BOOK FAIR from November 22nd – November 29th:

labels that last

Help keep your child’s clothing, shoes, lunch containers, etc from landing in the lost and found!  Lovable Labels can be personalized with names and phone numbers, and they last wash after wash.  The BVE Parent Advisory Council receives a portion of sales as a fundraiser too!

Art Fundraiser coming soon!

Greetings Begbie View families! Our students are busy working their creative juices to create artwork for this year’s school fundraiser. Teachers will be sending photos of your child’s artwork to you, or you will get to see it when you come for parent-teacher conferences. Online ordering will start October 8th until the 19th. See attached photo for some of the cool options you will have for momentos and gifts. More details to come.

Every Child Matters – Orange Shirt Day 2021

We commemorated Orange Shirt Day with a school-wide photo, taken from the roof.  Can you tell it is a T-shirt?  Orange Shirt Day is a day to reflect on Canada’s history of residential schools, a day to learn about the intent and impacts these had on Indigenous children and families.
