Vow of Silence: Tuesday, April 12th
Four of our intermediate classes walked in silence today to raise awareness about global issues that concern them the most. Having spent some time researching global issues, each student chose one to make the focus of their silence. Topics ranged from child marriages, child labour and access to education, to melting sea ice, clean drinking water, and the extinction of animal species. Staff were very impressed with the maturity our students demonstrated – in both their thoughtful statements and their responsible conduct. We are proud to be Begbie View!
Peanut Butter Drive:
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the peanut butter drive for the Revelstoke Food Bank. We collected over 60 containers of this valuable source of protein!
